Five Element Acupuncture:

The Officials and their roles in
diagnosis and treatment on the
Body, Mind and Spirit level

presented by

Ian Barbara Florian, M.Ac.(US), M.Ac.(UK), Ph.D.(Nutrition)
Dipl.Ac.(NCCAOM), MBAcC, L.Ac.

This two-day webinar is ideally designed for practitioners who have some familiarity with the concept of the integration of body, mind, spirit which forms the basis of Five Element acupuncture, and is an integral part of diagnosis and treatment, honoring the unique individuality of each patient. The workshop will begin with a brief history of body/mind/spirit medicine both from the Western medical point of view as well as Chapter 8 of the Su Wen. There will be an intensive review of the Officials and their relevance in putting in body/mind/spirit context both to acupuncture as well as allopathic-identified symptomatology (such as Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy aka Broken Heart Syndrome) as well as mental/emotional issues,
and discussion of treatment options.

Day one will include presentation of history and function of the Officials. Day two will consist of an interactive diagnostic practicum which will give participants the opportunity to embody the functions of each Official both individually as well as how they interact with each other through various role play scenarios, sharpening clinical skills. There will be opportunity for questions both clinical and theoretical.

Date: Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12, 2020

Time: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm

Presentation: via Zoom

Cost: $325, payable by check or via PayPal (gabcoy@aol.com)
