Japanese healing practices including acupuncture, diet, herbs, massage, heat treatments, and forms of exercise have been used to treat and prevent cancer for hundreds of years in the Japanese islands. Acupuncture arrived from China in 551 AD. It was highly compatible with the native forms of healing which involved the manipulation of local foods. We will discuss the evolving practices that have resulted from these time-honored traditions.

  •  An explanation of acupuncture and other treatments that are successful in the prevention and healing of cancer.
  •  A demonstration of various cancer treatments.
  •  A listing and explanation of how specific foods work in the prevention and treatment of cancer.
  • Question and Answer period/Food Tasting and Discussion
