The Prevention and Treatment of Cancer Using Traditional Japanese Acupuncture, Diet, and Other Therapies

Japanese healing practices including acupuncture, diet, herbs, massage, heat treatments, and forms of exercise have been used to treat and prevent cancer for hundreds of years in the Japanese islands. Acupuncture arrived from China in 551 AD. It was highly compatible with the native forms of healing which involved the manipulation of local foods. We will discuss the evolving practices that have resulted from these time-honored traditions.
