The Basics of VA and Private Insurance Billing

  1.   If you've never billed insurance before or need a refresher, this course is
      for you.  Practitioners will learn what is needed to start working with
      insurance companies, how to complete and submit an electronic CMS1500, and how to write clinical notes.  Linda Tolentino has years of experience with acupuncture billing.  Obtain the basics needed to start billing insurance with the Veterans Administration and private insurers, how to obtain a National Provider Identifier which is a unique 10-digit identification number issued to healthcare providers by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. 
    Credentialing, how to complete a claim form, and discussion around the basic diagnostic codes that insurance will pay for.  


Cancellation Policy for NCSAAM Events:
One month prior to seminar date: Full refund minus $25 cancellation fee.
One month to one week prior: 60% of tuition will be refunded.
Less than one week prior or nonattendance: No refunds.
