What You Need to Know to Become an Effective Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncturists Introduces the professional to the historical and modern hospice model, including the cultural, physical, spiritual and emotional issues related to death and dying. Includes assessment, physical and emotional changes in the dying patient, and the Hospice Acupuncture protocol.
Hospice Acupuncture Ethics (2 PDAs): Will examine ethical terminology and explores personal beliefs on death and dying. Topics include critical thinking skills, the Patients’ Bill of Rights and utilizing the interdisciplinary team to resolve conflicts.
Safety in Hospice Acupuncture and Home Care (2 PDAs): A day of home visits uncovers a variety of safety subjects from the travel kit and clean field, to prevention of disease transmission, problem patients, safe documentation techniques, and your personal and vehicle safety.
Cancellation Policy for NCSAAM Events:One month prior to seminar date: Full refund minus $25 cancellation fee.
One month to one week prior: 60% of tuition will be refunded.
Less than one week prior or nonattendance: No refunds.
